I mostly get takeout here, but they are quick yet provide have fresh quality Thai dishes and the prices are very reasonable to top it off. Not much more you can ask for. Small little corner spot, no frills.

My first time eating at Silver tray and it was wonderful! I ordered two entrees, a side of rice, and a beer for a very fair 34. The eggplant and black bean sauce dish was really unique and delicious and the two entrees fed me for four meals. Highly recommend!

I get take out here regularly, its delicious and much cheaper than the other places around. Ive tried 5 different dishes and they were all delicious. In particular I like the curries and the wide noodle dishes.

Welcome to my latest culinary discovery, Silver Tray, a hidden gem located in the vibrant neighborhood of Seattle on N 45th St. This unclaimed Thai restaurant offers an array of delightful dishes that encapsulate the essence of Thai cuisine, brought to life with authenticity and a touch of home. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a casual yet inviting ambiance, perfect for everything from a quick lunch to a relaxing dinner with family and friends.

Silver Tray truly shines in its diverse menu, catering to various dietary preferences, including vegan options that keep those with specific dietary needs in mind. The restaurant is designed for everyone, featuring gender-neutral restrooms and outdoor seating that makes for a cozy dining experience, regardless of the time of day.

Now, let's talk about the food. The appetizers are a brilliant start to any meal. The Fried Spring Rolls ($7.50) are a delightful blend of bean thread noodles, shredded cabbage, carrots, and celery, wrapped and deep-fried to perfection, served with a sweet plum sauce that balances the flavors beautifully. And if you're a tofu lover, the Fried Tofu ($7.50) is another hit, crispy on the outside and soft within, accompanied by the same luscious plum sauce.

When it comes to soups, Silver Tray does not disappoint. The Tom Yum Soup ($11.00) is a vibrant, hot-and-sour concoction filled with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, customizable to your spice level. Opt for chicken or pork to truly savor authentic Thai flavors. For something creamier, the Tom Kha Soup is heavenly; its infusion of coconut milk with similar aromatic herbs creates a comforting bowl that warms the soul.

For a main course, the Cashew Chicken ($11.95) and Swimming Rama ($11.95) are standout choices. The Cashew Chicken is stir-fried with crunchy cashews, peppers, and garlic, providing a satisfying crunch and rich flavor profile. Alternatively, the Swimming Rama serves a bed of spinach and bean sprouts, generously drizzled with a rich peanut sauce, a dish that captivates your taste buds with each bite. Both meals allow for customizations in spice levels and protein choices, ensuring that everyone can find something they love.
